2/7 Materials: 1 yard sturdy fabric (canvas/denim), matching thread, scissors, pins, sewing machine (or hand-sew), optional: Iron, ruler.

Cut: Two 18×15″ rectangles (body), two 24×3″ strips (straps).

3/7 Step 1: Hem the tops. Fold top edge of each rectangle 1/2″ twice, iron, and sew straight across. This creates a clean opening.

4/7 Step 2: Sew sides. Place rectangles right sides together. Sew along sides and bottom with 1/2″ seam allowance. Leave top open. Box corners for shape: Cut 2″ squares from bottom corners, pinch and sew.

5/7 Step 3: Straps. Fold each strip lengthwise, right sides in, sew long edge. Turn right-side out, press flat. Topstitch for strength.

6/7 Step 4: Attach straps. Pin 3″ from sides on inside top. Sew securely in a square with an X for reinforcement.
